In these verses Jesus tells us that ALL are called to be a light in the world that leads others to him. This is our new mission:
Glorify God through songs accessible, free, on the Internet
Encourage families to sing and pray at home
Provide a forum where people can post and pray for those needs
Our motto is “Prayer - It Starts At Home”.
The name of this ministry, HOP NM, is derived from "House of Prayer" (Casa de Oracion). A little light lit up in 1930 when a group of Hispanics began praying and reading their Bibles in their homes. They built a little Adobe Temple, called House of Prayer in Las Cruces, NM. HOP NM has helped spread the gospel worldwide through song and prayer on the Internet, a medium that provides an exceptional way to let the "light shine” in the world and to glorify God.
HOP NM conducts periodic prayer group meetings, and is open to all, especially those who observe the National Day of Prayer on the first Thursday of May of each year.
HOP NM adheres to the core Christian beliefs espoused in the Apostles' Creed.
HOP NM is a non-profit organization. Our funding comes from public and private donations.
